Burnsville, MN (NSUWolves.com) – For the second time this season a member of the Northern State men’s basketball team is the NSIC Player of the Week. Jacksen Moni grabbed his first honors of the season following a pair of double-doubles against St. Cloud State and Bemidji State.
NSIC Player of the Week – #21 Jacksen Moni (F, 6-10, 225, Jr., Fargo, N.D. / Sheyenne High)
– Averaged a double-double with 25.5 points and 13.0 rebounds in wins over SCSU and BSU
– Shot 45.5% from the floor, 69.2% from the 3-point line, and 80.0% from the foul line
– Added seven assists, six blocks and two steals over the two contests
– Scored a career high 38 points in a 83-77 win over SCSU
– Grabbed a career high 16 rebounds as well in the win over the Huskies
– Recorded his second double-double of the week with 13 points and 10 boards in a 84-68 win over BSU
– Led the NSIC in rebounds (13.0) and blocked shots (3.0) per game last week
Josh Dilling was also recognized as a member of the NSIC Shining 5.
