ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- This Monday the South Dakota Property Rights PAC is hosting a rally at Pierre prior to the legislative session beginning that Tuesday.
District 3 Representative Carl Perry discuss who is going to be there.

District 3 Senator Al Novstrup discuss topics that could be brought up at the rally.
Spink County landowner Ed Fischbach discuss the main bill that they are focused on.
McPherson County landowner Mark Lapka discuss another bill dealing with surveying.
Another bill Lapka discuss is dealing with those who already have sent easements to Summit Carbon Solutions.
South Dakota Ag Alliance will be pushing a bill to allow state government to override what counties are doing in regard to setbacks. Fischbach commented on that.
Three years ago, a bill(HB1093) was going to allow state government to override what municipalities would do in regards to a pandemic. Example being COVID-19. Lapka compare that to what is happening with landowners today.
HB1093 was defeated at the Government Affairs Committee on a 12-1 vote.
Representative Perry believes that state government should not override what cities or counties do.
Fischbach talks about South Dakota First who is behinds the bills that landowners are supporting.
The rally will take place at the Capitol Rotunda beginning at 12pm.
