WATERTOWN, S.D.(KWAT)–Wintry weather is expected across eastern South Dakota this week, starting today with a weather system that will bring several inches of snow along with it.

Southeast South Dakota is under a Winter Storm Warning, while east central and northeast South Dakota are in a Winter Weather Advisory thru Tuesday morning.

National Weather Service forecaster Troy Kleffman says a second weather system will arrive later this week, along with much colder air.

The Winter Weather Advisory for the Watertown area is in effect thru 6 a.m. Tuesday.
