WATERTOWN, S.D.(KWAT)–Six months ago, Governor Kristi Noem began appearing in television ads as part of the “Freedom Works Here” advertising campaign designed to attract out-of-staters to South Dakota to fill vacant jobs.

The governor says it has been an incredible success.

Governor Noem says that’s one example of many she could cite.

On Monday, the Legislature’s Executive Board met to scrutinize the selection of Ohio-based Go West Media to develop the ad campaign.
