PIERRE, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Monday, the South Dakota House Commerce & Energy Committee discuss HB1203.  This bill clarify references to the court in a condemnation proceeding.

Lawyer Brett Koenecke representing Summit Carbon Solutions spoke in opposition to the bill.

Representative Carl Perry of Aberdeen talks about his support of the bill.  Perry believes this should be voted on by the full South Dakota House.

The committee voted in favor of the bill on a 8-3 vote.
