ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- District 3 Representative Carl Perry appeared on the KSDN Midday Report Monday to talk about his campaign for the District 3 Senate seat. Perry is looking to be elected to his first term in the Senate.
Perry discuss priorities for District 3 which cover most of Aberdeen.
Perry also talks about priorities for the state of South Dakota.
A number of ballot measures will be appearing on the November ballot. Perry was asked following the will of the people.
Perry did admit that one amendment being considered, he wouldn’t honor the vote of the people & that is the abortion amendment(Amendment G).
One issue he wouldn’t agree with personally is recreational marijuana but did admit that he would accept the vote of the people if it passes.
Perry also addressed his support of SB201 which deals with local control & why he supports the petition to place a referendum to repeal the bill.
One of the interesting topics that has gone under the radar is the issue of team. Representative Perry responded what a team means and who is all on that team.
Perry will be facing Katie Washnok in the District 3 Senate race. Perry was asked how he would distinguish himself from his opponent.
