SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The South Dakota AARP State Director Erik Gaikowski talks about some key issues seniors are looking into for the 2024 elections.

Gaikowski also comment on the upcoming amendment to Medicaid expansion that deals with work requirement.  Medicaid expansion was approved by South Dakota voters in 2022.

One of the reasons the South Dakota AARP was in favor of Medicaid expansion was the impact on rural communities.  Gaikowski explains.

Gaikowski also address the issue of lowering prescription drug costs that’s important to seniors.
