SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – A man was robbed in Sioux Falls Tuesday night after he agreed to help a woman repair a vehicle.

Sioux Falls Police said the incident happened just before midnight. A man went to meet a woman on the 3500 block of South Gateway Blvd to help her repair a car.

Two other men showed up in the room they were in and punched the man. They also took his wallet and cell phone.

The victim was able to get away and call police. Officers found the two men and woman still inside the room with cash that belonged to the victim.

The three suspects were all arrested for second-degree robbery.

No serious injuries occurred and no weapons were shown or displayed.
