Here is a summary of the water status:

Boil Order: Instituted due to empty water towers after a water main break.

Current Actions: Aberdeen Water Works staff are collecting water samples for contamination testing, which will be sent to the state lab in Pierre.

Expected Outcome: If tests are negative, the boil order could be lifted as early as tomorrow.

System Status: Water distribution is functioning, but there’s a ten-foot difference in water levels between the north tower and the two southern towers.

Impact: Reduced storage capacity in the south part of town.

Request: Limit water usage, especially for irrigation, if possible
