PIERRE, S.D. (WNAX) – A recent survey of Mid America businesses by Creighton University found two thirds had felt some impact from the tariffs and trade war with China.

Dave Owen, President of the South Dakota Chamber of Commerce and Industry, says they surveyed their members, too.

Owen says they found some businesses have profited from the tariffs.

Owen says most businesses say they can hang on a while longer.

Owen says most of the larger manufacturers in the state have an interest in international trade.
