YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson took some time to visit with WNAX on the topic of the attempted assassination of Donald Trump and the fallout it is producing for the US Secret Service. Johnson acknowledged that there is an issue.
The Representative said that all parties need to get to work finding answers now because this is not the sort of problem you want to drag out, but he also added that finding the answers is only part one of addressing the issue.
In the aftermath of the shooting last weekend a lot of information has been coming out of Pennsylvania, along with calls for the resignation of Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle who will appear before lawmakers in Washington DC on Monday to answer lawmakers at a hearing which has been titled “Oversight of the U.S. Secret Service and the Attempted Assassination of President Donald J. Trump.”
