ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)-  The Aberdeen City Council on Monday night addressed the need for alternates for the Planning & Zoning Board.

Community Development Planner Eric Miller explains why this was needed.

Miller describes the benefits of placing former council member Jennifer Slaight-Hansen as an alternate.

Miller also talks about having former City Manager Lynn Lander on the board as an alternate.

Both were approved on 8-0 votes and will start on August 8th.
