Landowner express concerns about culverts in place in the Mansfield area

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Brown County Commission during their open forum on Tuesday heard from landowner Jared Bossly expressing concerns about culverts around the Mansfield area.

Bossly believes when heavy rains or melting snow can lead to major flooding issues as part of the Warner Township.

Brown County Commissioner Duane Sutton asked Bossly what is east of the Mansfield area.

Brown County Highway Superintendent Dirk Rogers offers up a potential solution to this problem.

Brown County Planning & Zoning Director Scott Bader talks about the process how the culverts came in place.

Since the comments were made during the open forum, no formal action could be done the county commission.  Brown County Commission do plan on addressing this at the next county commission meeting.
