Brown County Democrats look ahead to the 2024 Presidential elections

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Sunday, President Biden announced that he will not be seeking a second term as President of the United States.  The chair of the Brown County Democrats, Matt Scott reflect on his time as President.

Scott announces that the South Dakota Democratic Party has now endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to be the Democratic candidate for President.

Scott was asked if the issue of democracy is still in play despite the fact that primaries across the country did vote for Biden to be the nominee for President.

District 3 House candidate Erin Rudner praise President Biden for bowing out of the race following his debate performance against Donald Trump.

Scott comments on whether the treatment of Vice President Harris will be similar to that of President Biden if polls show her trailing Donald Trump.

The Democratic National Convention will be in Chicago, IL from August 19th-22nd.
