South Dakota Democrats energized with VP Kamala Harris

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Back on Sunday, July 21st President Joe Biden announced he will not be seeking a second term as President of the United States.  Vice Chair of the South Dakota Democrats, Jessica Meyers was in Chicago when the announcement was made.

Meyers discuss the meeting held on Monday to determine what to do with the delegates committed at that time to President Biden.

Meyers talks about the excitement VP Harris has generated for the Democrats in the state.

Meyers will be in Chicago for the Democratic National Convention and considers it an honor.

Later on this week, a roll call of delegates will be done that will make it official that Vice President Harris will be the Democratic nominee for President of the United States.

The Democratic National Convention will be from August 19th-22nd.
