SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(SD NewsWatch)- The South Dakota Supreme Court on Friday reversed a circuit judge’s dismissal of a lawsuit filed by an anti-abortion group seeking to keep an abortion rights amendment from reaching the November 2024 ballot. Here’s reporter Stu Whitney with more:
The case must be decided no later than August 13, because Secretary of State Monae Johnson must notify county auditors on August 14 of the various measures that will be on the statewide ballot for voters to decide.
