South Dakota Farmers Union to visit Washington, D.C. in September

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The South Dakota Farmers Union will be doing a Fly-in to D.C. coming up in September.

Farmers Union President Doug Sombke provides a preview.  He comments on the Farm Bill that has passed the U.S. House.

Sombke talks about how Congressman Dusty Johnson has done in addressing the next Farm Bill.

Among other topics the Farmers Union would like to see address is MCOOL(Mandatory Country of Origin Labeling) & crop insurance among others.

Sombke also wants to see the ag industry strong for future generations.

The Fly-in will take place from Monday-Wednesday, September 9th-11th.
