ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- At Tuesday’s Aberdeen City Council meeting, Aberdeen Police Chief Dave McNeil detail a community safety meeting held that day to address the situation happening at South Lincoln Street around 11th & 12th Avenues.
McNeil talks about what the police will be doing to address this starting with the speeding issue.
McNeil inform the public that there will more police in the area to address these issues.
McNeil also announce that officers will be doing more door to door visits to get more feedback about what’s happening there.
National headline last week involve a Venezuelan group causing havoc in Aurora, CO. McNeil assure the public that this situation here is not close to what’s happening there.
There will be a scheduled meeting about a month from now to see if these ideas are improving what’s happening on South Lincoln Street.
