MITCHELL, S.D.(KMIT)- Don’t shoot the messenger, but it has to be said…”winter is coming” and with it the flu and Covid season.  Dr. Rosha McCoy, the Director of Advancing Clinical Leadership and Quality for the Association of American Medical Colleges says now is the time to get your shots.

Dr. McCoy says you don’t need to make two trips, you can get your flu and Covid shot at the same time.

Dr. McCoy says its especially important children get immunized to help protect their classmates whose immune systems may make them more susceptible to falling ill with airborne diseases.
