Frederick voters to decide bond for new school Thursday

FREDERICK, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Coming up on Thursday, the voters in the Frederick area are going to the poll dealing with a potential $10 million bond for a potential new high school in the city of Frederick.

District 1 House candidate Mark Sumption lives in Frederick and provided a preview of what to expect.

Voters will decide about an increase in property taxes to cover for the new school.

Sumption talks about the sense of the community where they stand on this issue.

Early voting is going on now through Wednesday.  That can be done at the Frederick School.

Day of voting will go from 7am-7pm.  They can vote either at the Frederick Community Center or at the Westport Town Hall.  Photo ID is required to cast your ballot.
