Build Dakota coming to Stanley County High School Monday

FORT PIERRE, S.D.(DRGNews)- A roadshow providing information about a unique scholarship opportunity for South Dakota students will be at the Stanley County High School Monday.

Build Dakota Program Manager Deni (denny) Martin says the Build Dakota Scholarships are an incentive for students attending one of the state’s four technical colleges to enter career fields that have been designated as being in high demand.

Martin says Build Dakota is about making connections.

Martin says there are 102 programs eligible for Build Dakota scholarships. She says participating businesses work directly with the technical colleges.

Martin encourages students, parents and guardians, as well as business owners or managers to attend the Build Dakota Roadshow Monday from 2-2:40pm CT at the Parkview Auditorium in Fort Pierre.
