Representative Brandei Schaefbauer talks about her campaign for District 3 House seat

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Representative Brandei Schaefbauer is looking to seek her second term in the South Dakota House representing District 3 which is the city of Aberdeen.

Schaefbauer addressed some of the priorities for the city of Aberdeen starting with getting fresh water from the Missouri River to the city.

Schaefbauer also discuss getting more funding for e-learning programs being done at Northern State.

Schaefbauer talks about improving education in Aberdeen as well as the state.

Schaefbauer was asked on the various ballot measures will impact the ways she would legislate in 2025.

One of the measure addresses IM28 which deals with the repeal of the consumption tax.  Schaefbauer discuss how this measure could impact the sunset clause for the South Dakota State sales tax.

Earlier in that week, HubCityRadio caught up with the Executive Director of South Dakota for Better Marijuana Laws, Matthew Schweich who went after Protect SD Kids for their opposition to IM29.  Schaefbauer defends the President of the group, Jim Kinyon.
