SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – South Dakota’s minimum wage will increase at the start of 2025.
Beginning Jan. 1, the state minimum wage will go up 30 cents for non-tipped employees, making the new minimum wage $11.50/hour.
The amount is adjusted each year based on increases in the cost of living.
For employees receiving tips, the minimum wage will be $5.75/hour.
