SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(KELO)- His name isn’t on the ballot this year, but Senator John Thune has been campaigning hard this year.
He’s put on thousands of miles for other Republican candidates, in hopes of switching the Senate to a Republican Majority.
He says the efforts are beginning to pay off at all levels.
Senator Thune is also campaigning for himself…working to become the leader of Senate Republicans after the election.
With less than a week to go in the election, Senator Mike Rounds is calling on the two presidential campaigns to get down to serious business.
Appearing on CNN, Senator Rounds says all they’re doing now is calling each other names.
Senator Rounds says Americans want to talk about bread and butter issues and leave the nonsense behind.
