YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- South Dakota Representative Dusty Johnson spoke about the topics he is encountering as he hits the final stretch leading to election day. He has been campaigning in state and says that illegal immigration is still a topic he hears about and talks about with many people he encounters.
The Congressman says that he is aware that just saying he is working against the issue isn’t always enough for the voters of the state.
When asked about what other big issues he sees as pressing in DC Johnson pointed to world security and the United States role in world wide conflicts.
Johnson is facing a challenge in Tuesday’s election from Democrat Sheryl Johnson for South Dakota’s lone seat in the House of Representatives.
