ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Monday(Veterans Day), Aberdeen Central High School hosted their annual Veteran Day ceremonies honoring those who served in the military.
The keynote speaker was Retired Brigadier General Joel De Groot.
De Groot talks about the percentage of Americans who will join the military during their lifetime.

Veterans Day is honored on November 11th since 1919 when back then it was known at Armistice Day. It was changed to Veterans Day in 1954.
