ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Aberdeen City Council address a Memorandum of Understanding(MOU) for construction of water project in connection with WEB & BDM.  The bid was for the construction for the Spring Lake and Bowdle segment that’s part of the WINS Project.  The lowest bid came from SJ Lewis based in Rockville, MN.

Aberdeen City Manager Robin Bobzien:

Bobzien remind the council that the ARPA funds need to be committed by the end of this year.

Bobzien inform the council that the rest of the funding would come from SWRMS(State Water Resources Management System).

Bobzien note that they will try to lower the funding for the Spring Lake project.

Councilman Alan Johnson made the motion to approve the bid for SJ Lewis Construction.

The city council approved the MOU on an 8-0 vote.  The bid approved was over 35.8 million dollars.
