ABERDEEN, S.D.(Press Release)- The Aberdeen Parks, Recreation, & Forestry Department provides Area Federal Credit Union sledding hill at Baird Park located at 1715 24th Ave. NE.  People are encouraged to try out the only “sledding hill” in Aberdeen.  Area Federal Credit Union Sledding Hill is 25 feet tall.  The hill is not supervised, so people are asked to be courteous of others sledding.  A parking area is provided just south of the sledding hill.  Snow boards are not allowed on the hill.  No motorized or recreational vehicles such as snowmobiles and ATV’s are allowed in the park or on the hill.  Come out and enjoy the show-sledding!  For more information, contact the Parks, Recreation, & Forestry Department at (605) 626-7015.
