ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Monday night, the Aberdeen City Council discuss doing more studies on water and sewer rates in the city.

Aberdeen City Finance Officer Jordan McQuillen discuss the study previously done by Banner Associates last year.

McQuillen explain what the rate study also from Banner will do this time around.

McQuillen discussed water usage rates and the impact it would have for the city.

McQuillen was asked how this could impact rates in the city going forward.

The city council approved the request for the study.  It will the cost the city $55,200 and that for now will come out of the city’s budget.
