Mitchell, SD (NSUWolves.com) – The Northern State University baseball team secured the series sweep against Dakota Wesleyan, winning 4-0 and 8-6. The Wolves totaled 12 runs on 14 hits throughout the day. In the first game, NSU capitalized on key moments, collecting six hits, while Carson Zimmel threw a shutout, pitching 7.0 innings and striking out eight Tigers. In the second game, the Wolves took the win in extra innings, scoring two runs in the top of the tenth and finishing with 12 hits.
