Amber Alert issued for one year old Sioux Falls girl now canceled

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELOLAND) — The child that was kidnapped Thursday evening in Sioux Falls was found unharmed, police said in a news release shortly before 2 p.m. Friday.

The Sioux Falls Police Department announced officers arrested two people in connection with the kidnapping. Tianna Bluebird, 17, was found inside the apartment and was arrested on the kidnapping arrest warrant. Helena Havannah Bluebird, a 22-year-old from Sioux Falls, was also arrested for Abuse or Cruelty to a Minor.

Lelanna Sitting Up, 29-year-old from Sioux Falls, is still wanted. The investigation remains on-going.

The Amber Alert has been canceled.

As of early Friday afternoon, police and the SWAT team were at a residence near 18th Street and Summit Avenue in response to Thursday’s kidnapping of an infant.
