ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Aberdeen City Council on Monday night’s meeting address the vacant seat in the Southwest District following the resignation of Justin Reinbold.

Aberdeen City Attorney Ron Wager(Wag-er):

Wager discuss three different options to use.  First one deals with candidates running for the council seat.

Reminder the two candidates that have submitted the petitions on record are Nicole Schutter & Talmage Ekanger.

Wager discuss the second which is to wait on June and fill the position following the city elections.

Wager talks about the third option which is to wait until the next term starts on July 1st.

No formal action was taken by the council.  The deadline to turn in petitions for both the SW & SE Districts is March 25th.
