SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(KELO)- The South Dakota Supreme Court heard arguments Tuesday in a lawsuit over a proposed new prison in Lincoln County.
The Attorney General’s office represented the state in the case.
Attorney A.J. Swanson, the attorney for landowners who filed suit to stop the prison plans, says neighboring landowners were blindsided by the announcement of the location just over a year ago.
The Justices will confer on the case and issue a written decision later.
