ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Monday night, the Aberdeen City Council discussed an ordinance dealing with funding needed for the new Public Work facility.

Aberdeen Finance Director Jordan McQuillen addressed what the ordinance does.

McQuillen talks about the estimated cost and location for the new building.

McQuillen talks about debt owed by the city on other projects.

McQuillen talks about the bond to be used for the new building if approved.

Councilwoman Erin Fouberg praised the work done to get to this point.

Aberdeen Public Works Director Stu Nelson talks about when the building could be ready to go once construction begins.

The city council approved it on a unanimous 9-0 vote.
