Aberdeen, S.D. – The Malchow Plaza Farmers Market is back for the season, kicking off this Saturday, May 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Malchow Plaza in Downtown Aberdeen. The market will feature a wide variety of local vendors offering fresh produce, local meats, baked goods, handcrafted items, and more, along with live music to create the perfect Saturday morning experience.

Shoppers can expect over 55 vendors throughout the season, showcasing locally crafted and grown products. The market runs every Saturday from May 10 through September 27, providing a lively and welcoming community event all summer long.

Each Saturday will feature live music from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., highlighting talented local musicians. Kicking off the music series this Saturday is Pops New Rhythm, featuring well-known Midwest musician Pete Burckhard.

“The Malchow Plaza Farmers Market has really grown over the last couple of years,” said Kelly Brandlee, President of the Malchow Plaza Farmers Market. “We are so excited to kick off the 2025 season with many returning popular vendors and some new, exciting additions to the mix.”

Attendees of the Malchow Plaza Farmers Market are encouraged to shop the market, grab a coffee from host The Market on the Plaza, enjoy the live entertainment, and explore the other local businesses located Downtown Aberdeen all summer long.
