SIOUX FALLS, SD (HubCityRadio.com) – As the two day tournament wrapped up from Elmwood Golf Course in Sioux Falls, it was a battle to the finish for the girls side, while on the guys side, it was a bit more lopsided.

Aberdeen’s Olivia Braun would place in second for the two day event. She shot an even par on Tuesday; much like Monday, Braun was consistent just about all day long. She would par fourteen of the eighteen holes on the afternoon. She picked up birdies on the par three fourth hole and the par four sixteenth hole. She did have a pair of bogeys, both of them on par fours (hole one & hole eleven).

Watertown’s Gabi Olson would be the medalist for the two day event, she finished two strokes under par, those two shots ahead of Braun. Olson shaved one stroke off her 71 on Monday and shot a 70 for day two. Much like Monday, Olson was a bit of a rollercoaster, she earned seven birdies on the round, but also did have five bogeys, but the good outweighed the bad, en route to the two stroke victory. Tori Peterson of Flandreau and Katie Betsworth tied for third place & Brynn Roehrich of Watertown finished in fifth place.

On the guys side, Watertown’s Ty Lenards ran away from the competition. Lenards drilled five birdies and the lone blemish on his scorecard was a double bogey; he included twelve pars in his round. He was four strokes ahead of second place Jayden Antonen of Sioux Falls. Gabe Norberg of Watertown rounded out the top three.

Aberdeen’s Finn Anderson, who started out in a three way tie for fourth place, had a tough day. He finished tied for 34^th. He shot an outstanding 69 on day one at Bakker Crossing, but just an 80 on day two at Elmwood.
