The Initial Incarceration, Reentry Analysis, and Comparison of Relevant States Committee to meet Tuesday

PIERRE, S.D.(Press Release)- The Initial Incarceration, Reentry Analysis, and Comparison of Relevant States Interim Committee will hold its first meeting of the 2025 Interim  on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. (CT). The meeting is being conducted via electronic conference and at Avera Hall at the University of South Dakota in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

The Initial Incarceration, Reentry Analysis, and Comparison of Relevant States Interim Committee, co-chaired by Representative Greg Jamison (R-Sioux Falls)  and Senator Kevin Jensen (R-Canton), will meet to review a state comparison report of incarceration rates and prison populations in Montana, North Dakota,  South Dakota, and Wyoming; and will also take public testimony.
