WASHINGTON, D.C.(HubCityRadio)- On Monday, the U.S. Senate voted 51-50(VP J.D. Vance cast tie-breaking vote) to pass President Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill.”

The bill is currently being debated now in the U.S. House.

Congressman Dusty Johnson talked about what impact the Senate’s changes may have to South Dakotans.

With the U.S. House passing one version & the Senate passing their version, Johnson was asked if a joint committee maybe the best option to settle the differences.

Johnson express optimism that the bill will be passed by Friday.

President Trump has put a deadline to pass his bill by the Fourth of July.
