ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce’s 25th Annual ABBY Awards will be presented on Thursday, Sept. 19. This year’s theme is Aberdeen: The Greatest Town. The Chamber’s 135th Anniversary will also be celebrated.

The ABBY Awards are presented in various categories including Agribusiness, Bridge Builder, Community Involvement-Business, Community Involvement-Not for Profit, Customer Service-Retail, Customer Service-Not for Profit, Health & Wellness, Manufacturing, Professional Services, and People’s Choice.

Gail Ochs, Chamber President, talked about the nomination process.

The public is welcome to attend. Carnival and social start at 6 p.m. with awards at 7 p.m. at the Dakota Event Center.

Ochs said that the public can help to select the People’s Choice winner.
