Senator Rounds invite President Trump to Sturgis Motorcycle Rally

WASHINGTON, D.C.(KCCR)- Motorcycles should start thundering into western South Dakota this week as the 85th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally gets underway.  Earlier this year, South Dakota Senator Senator Mike Rounds invited President Donald Trump to the Rally.  Rounds has had a long relationship with Buffalo Chip campground owner Ron Woodruff.

Rounds himself has taken in the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally but it’s been awhile.

Rounds has a gut feeling the President will visit South Dakota within the next year.

There has been no official word on whether the 47th President of the United States will strap up  the chaps and come to Sturgis for the Motorcycle Rally.  The official start of the event is this Friday August 1st until Sunday August 10th.
