ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Aberdeen City Council on Monday received a report from Aberdeen City Attorney Ron Wager(Wag-er) on the potential of amending the council handbook.

Wager explain this is due to legislation passed by the South Dakota Legislature.

Wager talks about making two amendments to the handbook.  One involving the number of votes needed now to pass ordinances.

The other amendment discussing voting on council vacancies.

The council will have a vote on the changes to the handbook in their council meeting on Tuesday, September 2nd.
