MADISON, SD (HubCityRadio.com) – For the second time in three meets, the Aberdeen Roncalli Cavaliers Boys Golf team has earned a team victory & an individual medalist at a meet.

On Monday, the Cavaliers defeated the field at the Sioux Valley invite by placing 22 strokes ahead of the competition; on Thursday at the POET Invite in Madison, it came down to the final few holes, but Roncalli would win by two strokes over Sioux Falls Christian.

Much like Monday, Finn Anderson would be the medalist at the event in Madison; Anderson carded a (+4, 75) goof for first place. He finished with five birdies on the afternoon en route to his medalist position. His teammate Harper Schnabel finished just one stroke behind him at (+5, 76). The Cavs also got another player in the top 10 in Jesse Hernandez. Hernandez finished in 9^th place, shooting a (+10, 81).
