Charlie Kirk Vigil scheduled for Sunday night at Central Park

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Coming up on Sunday night at 7pm at Central Park will a vigil to honor the life of Charlie Kirk.

According to the press release on Facebook it reads the following:

“This is a time for our community — and beyond — to gather in prayer, singing, Scripture, and testimony as we remember Charlie Kirk. He was a devoted husband, father, son, and brother; a defender of the faith; and an inspiration for our nation and the world.
Charlie lived unashamed of objective truth — putting God first and calling others to do the same. He often reminded us, “When people stop talking, violence follows.” He believed in respectful dialogue, courage in the face of opposition, and the power of truth to set people free.
This vigil is to remember not only Charlie’s life but also to carry forward his legacy — to speak boldly, live faithfully, and honor God in our homes, schools, and nation.
We will gather here in Aberdeen on the same day as Charlie’s memorial service, standing in unity with his family and all those across the nation who honor his legacy of faith and truth.”
The event is free and open to the public.
