HOW IT HAPPENED
Northern State came out firing from all cylinders, resulting in a header from Savannah Funk to take the lead in the 17th minute (assisted by Jaylee Hofer and Kailyn Poppen).
The Wolves’ offensive charge was led by Chloe Voss, who took three shots in the outing, while Sydney Gilbertson Lauren Youngquist Hofer and Funk tallied a shot each.
With just over 10 minutes to go in the first half, Concordia-St. Paul would answer back with a goal by Nicole Moore, assisted by Izzy Sipe
Moore was responsible for three of CSP’s 14 shots, with seven others earning at least one apiece
The Golden Bears pulled away in the final 15 minutes with a goal by Ashley Bennett to move the score to 2-1
