ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The Aberdeen Community Concert Association will kick off its season with an event featuring the Glenn Miller Orchestra. The concert starts at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26 in the Harvey and Cynthia Jewett Theater at the Johnson Fine Arts Center on the campus of Northern State.

Gene Morsching, President of the ACCA, talked about the orchestra.

Morsching said the current members are able to replicate the one-of-a-kind sound of the original orchestra.

The Concert Association has a full lineup of events throughout the coming year.

ACCA memberships are $70 for adults, $25 for students, and $145 for family (two adults plus children). The family membership can also be two grandparents and four student tickets for grandchildren.

Individual tickets for each concert are $30 for adults and $8 for students in advance, and $35 for adults and $10 for students at the door.
