Special Olympics South Dakota athletes to compete at statewide tournament in Aberdeen

ABERDEEN, S.D.(Press Release) – Special Olympics South Dakota will host the 2025 State Traditional Bowling Tournament October 31 – November 2 at Village Bowl.

Highlights from the schedule:

  • Friday, October 31
    • 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM – Singles bowling competition at Village Bowl
    • 6:00 PM – Opening Ceremonies at Red Rooster Coffee House
  • Saturday, November 1
    • 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM – Doubles bowling competition at Village Bowl
    • 7:00 PM – Special Olympics South Dakota Annual Award Presentations at Aberdeen Central High School
  • Sunday, November 2
    • 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM – Team bowling competition at Village Bowl

This event would not have been possible without the volunteers, coaches, and sponsors who support our athletes both on the lanes and off them. More than 200 volunteers will contribute their time and talents to help organize and make this tournament a success. Their vital support will help foster memories for years to come.
