Patty Dewald, 98, Bowdle, died Sunday, November 9, 2025 at the Bowdle Nursing Home.

Patty is survived by two sons—David (Sarah) Dewald of Mitchell, SD and Steven Dewald of Omaha, NE; four daughters—Karen Karst of Lincoln, NE, Rosemary Mertz of Goodwin, SD,  Marcia (Gary) Hawley of Chino Valley, AZ, and Jane Ramsell of Huron, SD; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10:30 AM, Saturday, November 15, 2025 at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, Bowdle, with Father Timothy Cone, Celebrant. Interment follows at the Church Cemetery.

Visitation commences at 5:00 PM Friday at Lien Funeral Home, Bowdle, with a 7:00 PM Wake Service.
