ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Senator Carl Perry on Monday made it official.  He will seek re-election for the District 3 Senate seat.

In his press release he writes:

“South Dakotans deserve leaders who put people before politics and focus on getting things done.  I believe experience and integrity matter, especially when representing our community at the state level.”

Senator Perry serves on the Assistant Majority Leader of the South Dakota Senate.

Senator Perry is relying on his experience in the South Dakota Legislature.

“Serving District 3 has been an honor. Understanding the legislative process allows us to be effective advocates and ensure our district’s voice is heard.”

Perry will have a challenger as it will be a rematch of the 2024 elections as Katie Washnok announced she will seek the District 3 Senate seat.
