ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – There will be a total of 10 Vitalant Blood Drives in the Aberdeen area during the month of October.

The number of drives is by design, according to Travis Dressler, Donor Recruitment Manager for Vitalant.

Drives in Aberdeen include Oct. 2 at Central High School, Oct. 6 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Oct. 10 at Agtegra, Oct. 15 at Avera St. Luke’s, Oct. 16 at Hub City, Oct. 17 at Arise Church, Oct. 25 at Presentation College, and Oct. 31 at Northern State. There are also drives on Oct. 16 at the South Dakota Developmental Center in Redfield, and Oct. 17 at the Warner Community Center.

He said that while all types of blood are needed, there are certain types in more demand than others.

Look for numerous blood drives in the future as well.
