Myrtle Beach, SC (NSUWolves.com) [Day 2] – The Northern State University track and field team took on day two of the Alan Connie Shamrock Invite Friday. Two personal records and four top-5 finishes were recorded by the Wolves.
HOW IT HAPPENED FOR THE MEN
- The team of Geoffrey Mannino, Carter Dingman, Chris Weber, and Ty Kadlec finished fourth in the men’s 4×200 with a time of 1:28.92
- The 110m hurdles saw Greyson Schuetzle notch a personal record time of 15.82
HOW IT HAPPENED FOR THE WOMEN
- Second place in the pole vault was secured by Liz Dunham and her 3.20m mark
- The women’s heptathlon finished today as NSU’s Morgan Sheldon totaled 4537 points and took fourth; her marks on the day included 4.96m (long jump), 30.31m (javelin), and a time of 2:33.31 (800m)
- Renea Taylor placed fifth in the 100m prelims with her 11.86 time to qualify for tomorrow’s event finals
- Also, in the 100m was Kali Norton setting a personal best, crossing the finish line at 12.74

Myrtle Beach, SC (NSUWolves.com) [Day 3] – The Northern State University track and field team finished day three of the Alan Connie Shamrock Invite Saturday. 11 top-10 finishes were recorded by the Wolves on the closing day along with a record-breaking women’s performance in the 4×100.
HOW IT HAPPENED FOR THE MEN
- Rudi May secured third place in the pole vault with a 4.86m mark
- In the triple jump, Jayden Munroe jumped 14.80m to earn seventh and a provisional mark
- With a height of 1.98m, Martins Ogedenbe-Dobies finished nineth in the men’s high jump
- Dylan Hoot claimed the 10th place spot in the high jump with his 1.93m mark
HOW IT HAPPENED FOR THE WOMEN
- Taking the gold in the women’s pole vault was Bekah Walz and her 3.90m mark; she earned a provisional with this mark
- The 4x100m team of Kali Norton, Renea Taylor, Anna Skachenko, and Alexa Fender ran a 47.10, coming away with a top-3 finish
- Also in the pole vault, Romane Maugest’s 3.65m height earned her sixth place
- Renea Taylor took seventh in the women’s 100m finals, crossing the line at 11.89
- Seventh place in the discus went to Chloe Peterson with a 41.45m mark
- Andi Mehrer had a nineth place throw in the shot put with a distance of 11.79m; she also threw 38.43m in the discus event to earn 10th
BEYOND THE RESULTS
The women’s 4×100 team of Norton, Taylor, Skachenko, and Fender set a new school record for their event time of 47.10. The previous record was set in 2021 with a time of 47.25 by the team of Isabel Kinzer, Shona Juliana Makenna Larson, and Shanice Burrell.
